Does Sympl sell products or services?

No. Sympl does not sell, own, verify, or deliver any product or service listed on the platform. All listings are posted by users.

Does Sympl act as a broker, agent, or guarantor?

No. Sympl is not a broker, agent, escrow service, or guarantor. We are not involved in user transactions or agreements.

Does Sympl handle payments?

No. Sympl does not process payments, hold money, or provide escrow services. All payments happen directly between users outside the platform.

Are listings verified by Sympl?

No. Listings are user-generated. Sympl does not verify seller identity, item ownership, condition, authenticity, or legality.

Is Sympl responsible if a transaction fails?

No. Any transaction, meeting, payment, or communication is entirely between users and at their own risk.

Can Sympl help with disputes between buyers and sellers?

No. Sympl does not mediate, resolve, or intervene in disputes between users.

What should I do before buying something?

We strongly recommend that users:
  • Meet in safe, public places
  • Inspect items before payment
  • Avoid advance payments
  • Verify seller details independently

Is it safe to transact on Sympl?

User interactions carry inherent risks. While we provide safety guidance and reporting tools, users must exercise their own judgment and caution.

What information should I never share?

Never share:
  • OTPs
  • UPI PINs
  • Bank details
  • Aadhaar or ID numbers
  • Passwords or verification codes

Can Sympl prevent fraud?

No platform can fully prevent fraud. Sympl does not conduct background checks or identity verification. Users must protect themselves.

What should I do if I suspect fraud?

Report the user or listing using the in-app reporting tools immediately.

Who can use Sympl?

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements.

Am I responsible for my account activity?

Yes. You are fully responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your login credentials secure.

Are Boost Ads mandatory?

No. Boost Ads are optional paid promotional services to increase listing visibility.

Can I cancel a Boost Ad?

No. Boost Ads cannot be cancelled once purchased.

Can I get a refund for Boost Ads?

No refunds are provided once the boost is activated, except if:
  • The boost was not delivered due to a technical error from Sympl

Will boosting guarantee sales or responses?

No. Boosting only improves visibility. It does not guarantee responses, leads, or successful transactions.

Who is responsible for listing content?

The user who posts the content is fully responsible for its accuracy, legality, and compliance with laws.

Can Sympl remove my listing or account?

Yes. Sympl may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate laws, policies, or pose risks to users or the platform.

Does Sympl monitor content?

Sympl may review, restrict, or remove content, but does not guarantee monitoring of all listings.

What personal data does Sympl collect?

We collect only necessary data such as name, email, phone number, and listing-related information. We do not collect payment details, OTPs, or banking credentials.

Does Sympl sell my data?

No. Sympl does not sell personal data.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Upon account deletion, your personal data is deleted or anonymized within the legally required timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

What law governs Sympl?

Sympl is governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.

Can Sympl share my information with authorities?

Yes. Sympl may share user information when legally required or to prevent fraud or harm, in accordance with applicable laws.

Can these terms change?

Yes. Policies and FAQs may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.

Can Sympl reverse or recover my money if I get scammed?

No. Sympl does not handle payments and cannot reverse, recover, or refund money sent to another user. Once money is transferred outside the platform, it is beyond our control.

The seller stopped responding. Can Sympl force them to reply?

No. Sympl cannot compel users to respond, complete a transaction, or fulfill promises.

The product I bought was different from what was listed. What can Sympl do?

Nothing. Sympl does not verify listings or item condition and is not responsible for misrepresentation by users.

I paid in advance and the seller disappeared. Will Sympl compensate me?

No. Advance payments are strongly discouraged. Losses arising from such payments are solely the user’s responsibility.

Can Sympl verify if a seller is genuine?

No. Sympl does not verify identities, ownership, or authenticity of users or listings.

A user shared their phone number or asked me to contact them outside Sympl. Is that safe?

Interactions outside the platform are at your own risk. Sympl bears no responsibility for communications or transactions conducted outside the platform.

Can Sympl block or refund a fraudulent UPI or bank transfer?

No. Sympl has no access to banking systems and cannot intervene in financial transactions.

Why is my listing not getting responses?

Response levels depend on price, demand, location, category, and listing quality. Sympl does not guarantee responses, leads, or sales.

Does boosting guarantee faster selling?

No. Boosting only improves visibility. It does not guarantee inquiries or successful transactions.

My boosted ad didn’t perform well. Can I get a refund?

No. Reduced performance, low engagement, or lack of responses is not grounds for a refund.

My listing was removed. Can I get my boost money back?

No. Listings removed for policy violations are not eligible for refunds.

Can Sympl reinstate removed listings automatically?

No. Reinstatement depends on policy compliance and is not guaranteed.

I deleted my account by mistake. Can it be restored?

No. Account deletions are permanent and cannot be reversed.

I lost access to my account. Is Sympl responsible?

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their registered email and phone number.

Can Sympl edit or correct my listing for me?

No. Users are responsible for managing and updating their own listings.

Will Sympl file a police complaint for me?

No. Sympl does not file complaints on behalf of users. Users must contact law enforcement directly if needed.

Can Sympl share seller details with me?

No. User information is shared only as permitted by law and privacy regulations.

Does Sympl verify or approve listings and users?

Sympl’s decision to allow a listing or user account does not imply verification, approval, safety, or legitimacy of that user or listing.

Does sharing contact details mean a user is verified or trusted?

Contact details are shared solely to enable user communication and do not imply trust, verification, or endorsement.

What risks should I be aware of when using a classifieds platform?

Known risks on classifieds platforms include fraud, impersonation, advance payment scams, fake buyers, and non-delivery. Users acknowledge awareness of these risks before using the platform.

Can Sympl recover money lost in a transaction or scam?

Sympl has no technical or legal ability to recover funds transferred between users and will not attempt to do so.

Does boosting a listing guarantee sales or responses?

Visibility improvements do not correlate to sales, leads, response count, or transaction success. Performance depends on factors outside Sympl’s control, including pricing, demand, category, timing, and user behavior.

What do I agree to when I sign up?

Do I need to read all policies before using Sympl?

Can Sympl help resolve disputes between buyers and sellers?

Sympl does not provide dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, or customer support for user-to-user transactions.

Why was my listing or account removed?

Sympl may remove listings or accounts at its sole discretion, with or without notice, and without obligation to provide justification.

Can Sympl share seller or buyer details with me?

Sympl will not disclose user personal data to other users, except when legally compelled by authorities.

Is Sympl responsible if fraud happens on the platform?

The existence of fraudulent activity on the platform does not create liability for Sympl, as Sympl does not control user behavior.

What happens when Sympl updates its policies?

Users are responsible for reviewing updated policies. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

What is Sympl’s maximum liability to users?

Sympl’s maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the user to Sympl in the last 3 months, or zero if no payment was made.
